The Wang Theater is a gem. The lush red velour seats, ornate details, including wainscoting, paintings, and gorgeous chandeliers make this theater worth a visit. Though I was seated toward the back of the balcony, I still had a pretty good view of the performers. I saw the Sunday matinee performance of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

What an amazing theater. As soon as you walk in you are in awe of how beautiful this theater is. It is so ornately decorated. From my vantage point it did not seem like there was a bad seat in the house. The seats were very comfortable and there was plenty of room between each row. It was a pleasant theater experience and would definitely like to go back to see other shows in the future.

Attended the opening night performance of Annie the Musical as part of the PR/media team. I was gifted four front row tickets in exchange for hosting a giveaway and I was given an opportunity to watch a phenomenal show and capture content to post about the theater experience on my social media accounts. The Boch Center Wang Theater in Boston is simply amazing. The place is an iconic venue which is steeped in Boston's rich history and culture. The architecture is grand, elegant, and simply breathtaking. The sound quality is top-notch. No matter where you sit, you're guaranteed a fantastic audio experience. The seats are comfy (although my boyfriend said they were a tad too narrow for him) and offer great views of the stage. The staff are real pros – friendly and always ready to help. The cast was insanely talented (including the well-trained dog) and their energy was fabulous. Trust me, whether you're here for ANNIE or any other show, this place adds a special touch and is a crown jewel of Boston's theater scene. Can’t wait to be back in March for another show!

A lovely venue, with a gorgeous ceiling and architecture, and helpful staff, There were a couple of downsides which made me take away one star. 1) was distracting hearing people sniffing, coughing, whispering, talking in the hallway, etc. That stuff happens, I take no issue with it, but the music should've been loud enough to drown out the noises around us. 2) they sell concessions, but when you walk back to your seat they tell you you're not allowed to have them. You either have to consume them immediately, or throw them away. It's ridiculous. 3) the theater was too warm. We were hot, and a few people around us were falling asleep. A cooler environment with some circulating air flow would have been more comfortable.

This was one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever been to. I had an excellent seat close to the stage; but the way the speakers are stacked onstage means far left/right seat views of the full stage are partly blocked. I was surprised to find these are the normal locations for these… A sold out show will be annoying because of the mass of people in the lobbies and hallways, but once seated, it was quite comfortable! Parking will be a challenge if you don’t know the area, so park further away or arrive early.
