The Surf Ballroom, a 2,100-capacity historic ballroom in Clear Lake, IA, was rebuilt in 1948 with a South Seas beach club motif. It's famously known as the site of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson's final concert in 1959. This National Historic Landmark offers an intimate live music experience on its original maplewood dance floor, hosting diverse touring artists.
