South Shore Music Circus Concerts

This was one of the BIGGEST highlights of my husband and I’s honeymoon! We got to see REO Speedwagon in concert and it was SO much fun. I was a little worried the rotating stage would keep me from seeing the concert, but I hardly noticed most of the time. It was such a blast! Everyone on staff was so friendly and the venue was very well kept- even the bathrooms! Would definitely catch another show here.

Love this venue for live music! It feels like you can literally reach out and touch the performers. Missed Charlie Farren, but got a photo with him upon arrival! REO Speedwagon was great! The whole place was singing along to their songs. It was fantastic! The folks seated all around us became like family by the end of the show. Lots of fun. Bit of a line for the ladies' room during intermission. The parking is a bit screwy, but if you park more towards the back, it seems better off for exiting.

We enjoyed the Night of Queen concert and loved The Music Circus. It's at a reasonable distance from Boston, Cohasset is a nice town. There's free parking (can't take that for granted) but note that cars are parked in tight lanes, so you can't leave until everyone leaves, but it was quick and easy to get out (no traffic jams like at Gillette Stadium). It's very well organized, wheelchair accessible. The tent means you're protected from the weather yet you enjoy the open air, at least in the summer. Convenient restrooms and concessions (prices were high but not outrageous). The ticket price was around $50 pp, very reasonable and fair. There was a 30 minute intermission which was nice for people to schmooze, eat, drink, use the restroom, smoke etc. For us, 20 minutes would have been more than enough. The round stage is open and rotates slowly, so everyone gets good views of the band (!!). The capacity is around 2,000 people, so the audience is large enough for good atmosphere, yet small enough to feel more personable. The only thing we found disturbing was the extremely high volume, it was really excessive and almost unbearable. We used tissue as ear plugs, which compromised the clear sound quality, we couldn't understand all of what the singer said. Great experience overall 👌

No better place to see a concert in a Intimate setting. A band on the way up or finishing their career. Say 3 Dog Night great show and a lot of fun. Great venue, lots of food options and bars.

Awesome venue. And the vendor prices are better than others .. high but not 16 to 18 for a alcoholic beverage like other places. Small in the round and the stages rotates I saw KC and the Sunshine Band. Sound system was great. Would Def go back to this venue! Pictures are from the last row. Good sight lines everywhere.
