Fairchild Theatre Concerts 2024-2025

The play I watched, "Waiting for Lefty", was performed in a downstairs, small theater. No surprises. Black walls. Black ceiling. Black floor. Pete Seger music while waiting for the play. The play itself was timely. The students did a great job. The Q&A after the play was awkward although I learned some things about how these student productions happen. The location of the theater was weird but that aside things were fine.

Nice little set up for choir. Colors and seats are outdated, however it gets its charm from that.

The music was great. We couldn't hear the singers very well. The attendants were not too helpful (but one). There are no restrooms on the floors with elevators ,so having taking a senior citizen group to this program was challenging, let alone an accident waiting to happen. The restrooms are located on the lower level with no elevor access. I did complain ro attendants. The building is not ADA law acceptable. A wheelchair person would not be able to use restrooms. It was very tricky. I'm just saying. I was surprised and disappointed that I know this is an old building they have not accommodated to modern standards. Just ranting.

Beautifully remodeled performance venue. Nice acoustics.
