Kresge Auditorium Concerts

I love this venue! Honestly, it's one of my favorites! The backdrop is gorgeous! The water and sunsetting beyond the Pavillion is the perfect atmosphere to listen to bands you love!!

What can I say about the Kresge Auditorium that hasn't already been said... It is an amazing structure that has been helping people enjoy the performances at the Interlochen Center for the Arts for generations, 75 years this year if my math is correct! It is an open air theatre that seats enough people that they can hold signature shows there as long as the weather holds out each year. I have been lucky enough to see a number of shows at the Kresge and each and every one has been wonderful. The Kresge is vast enough to hold nearly 4000 spectators, yet at the same time intimate enough to make you feel as though the show is being put on just for you. If you are heading to Interlochen for any reason, check their website and make certain, if there is a performance at the Kresge, you buy yourself tickets. Maybe I'll see you there.

A great place to watch a concert and enjoy nature. Right on the shore of Green Lake the setting is stunning. Great seats, great stage, and a wonderful atmosphere.

Amazing venue, great volunteers to help you find your seats and always a great time. We attended Ziggy Marley last year and Dark Star Orchestra this year at Kresge. Both shows were amazing.

Beautiful setting for a concert. The windows on the back of the stage give you a view of the lake and if you're further back, you can also see the lake from the sides. The acoustics are also surprisingly good for an outdoor venue. Seats are reasonably comfortable, fold-down style, with no cushioning, as you might expect for an outdoor auditorium.
