Altar Society Brewing and Coffee Co. Concerts

Nice chill spot if you want good beer and food with great service. Started with the pretzel bites and then the Altar double with fries. Everything was great, came out hot and delicious. The beers were good with a good variety.

We were walking down Pine to The Pike after dropping off our ZipCar and looking for a place to grab lunch when we found Altar Society. The building’s aesthetic caught our eye and we took a look at their menu posted outside; shareables and pizza by-the-slice sounded perfect. No wait and self-seating at 12:00PM on a Tuesday. We were greeted by Tanner who also served as our host. Tanner was knowledgeable and offered great suggestions for drinks. He provided samples of both Hard Seltzers which allowed us to choose which we liked more (we chose the 1903 P.O.G.); nice touch and shows they are proud of their product! We started with the pretzel bites and beer cheese dip, it’s the perfect portion for two; the right amount of butter and salt. The Hawaiian and Meat Lovers pizza was fresh, hot, and delicious. Thank you, Tanner and Mike, for making our first time at Altar Society a great experience.

We saw the candlelight show of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons at the Alter Society. The string quartet was absolutely amazing, and the hundreds of candles were so beautiful. The Alter Society is such a beautiful venue! I love the style of the venue! We are definitely going to come back another night and get some food and drinks.

New(ish) brewery in DT Long Beach and an awesome addition to the LBC brewery scene! Pizza looked and smelled delicious, but we only stopped in for a few beers and hard selters, all of which were very good. Awesome space and awesome people! Definitely add Altar Society to your LBC brewery hop!

This place is awesome! The building has a lot of character and there is plenty of seating. We came with a large group and sat immediately. The staff was super friendly and fast. They have a great selection of beer and the food was really good too! We will definitely be coming back here regularly.
