Sound Nightclub Concerts 2024

My friend and I came here to see Nightmares on Wax. The vibe for the opening djs was kinda lame but as the night went on the crowd got cooler. The lowering of the lights was a really cool effect. We never waited in line for the bathroom which was so nice! Our bartender was cool and attentive and there wasn’t any line for drinks either. What they don’t tell you is that they charge $2 for cups that you are supposed to save and reuse. No one mentioned that and we had to pay for several cups. If the talent is good I would go back!

I love that house EDM music vibe! And I prefer clubs like this. Music and vibe. We entered the place. The bar is there. Got some shots and went to the back to jam tf out! Was super lit. We were there till it closed. DJ played amazing music and the lighting was dope!! Loved it!

I really don’t understand the negative reviews on here because I had an absolute blast last night. The sound is fantastic, the lighting is awesome, bartenders were friendly, and the outdoor patio is a bonus. I cannot wait to return here. I had way too much fun for a Thursday.

The worst club in LA without a doubt. Music is good but 40 per head to be bumped by ugly chicks and weirdos is heinous. On top of that the bartenders are idiots and can’t make a drink to save their lives. Drinks came in a plastic cup and had zero alcohol. Setup is dope but this club needs a revamp and to be more exclusive honestly. So much wasted potential. Don’t plan a night around this place.

I'm really surprised by the negative reviews here. I've been to countless clubs all over the world, from Ibiza to Berlin to Vegas and beyond, and I can easily say that Sound punches way above its weight. The staff are very friendly and the crowd is great. The layout of the club is perfect with the VIP tables nicely to the sides of the dancefloor and not taking up too much space or getting in the way like they would in some of the big VIP focused clubs. The dancefloor size is perfect for the size of the venue and the Pioneer sound system is top class. I think the lighting setup is amazing yet so simple with the lamps/lanterns adding a very mystical feel to the room. The smoking area is also very cool and the layout of the club means that there's never any bottleneck areas when it gets busy. $8 for a beer is also great value for the location. There is a steady stream of top class house talent rolling through the club each month and around $20 for entry is a bargain. Overall I'm so happy to have an amazing club like Sound within driving distance and I'm constantly looking forward to the next big night there.
