Fabulous small venue with a capacity of 1,200. It's located in the historic district of DTLA. Its architecture is impressive. Opening in 1926, the theater has a rich history and has served as both a house of God and debauchery. The only downside is the parking as it doesn't have its own lot but there are plenty of paid parking lots within walking distance. Average price I'd $25, most cash only. Also, there are lots of awesome murals within walking distance which are highly recommended. We did a self-walking toward after a Cypress Hill show and felt completely safe. Don't let the narrative discourage you from exploring downtown.

Good venue but normally standing room only. For the Netflix comedy show I went to they put down uncomfortable folding chairs. I loved the comedian and my bartender was good, but also been here when there was no seating on the bottom. For an older venue at least it’s well maintained.

Fantastic venue! It’s been restored beautifully—the exterior, the lobby, & the stage. If there’s a show or an event here, it’s worth the visit. There are parking lots across the street that are a bit pricier than the ones a block or two away in front of the old Herald Examiner building. The streets are well lit and feel safe to walk to from the venue.

Mine and family first time there was fun. Watched WOW. Which was good. But security and event staff need to be on the same page. Buying food and then going back to get it was a joke. Some of the staff Belasco were not properly trained or informed of their duties. WOW staff that I interacted with where great. The place looked nice. Needed more outside seating on top and bottom.

Didn't keep us waiting outside, doors open was line moving. Drinks are good and strong (though expensive), even has some decent food available! Decor is cool too. Personally would have liked seating but overall had a great time. Parked at the lot across the street for $30, there may be better options.
