Walt Disney Concert Hall Concerts 2024-2025

We took the subway here. Less than 2 minutes walk to the concert hall. Very convenient and fast. We are here to see Gustavo Dudamel conduct Dvorak on a Friday noon. The Disney hall has an amazing design and architecture. Definitely worth a visit if you are in LA!

Fantastic concert hall with great acoustics and excellent views from every seat. The organ is beautiful and powerful. The exterior is somehow even more amazing in person than by looking at the pictures, the interior has some cool decorations (the concert schedule, musical puns and more are on a split-flap display in the main lobby) and is easy to navigate. The only thing NOT easy to navigate is the parking garage: from 110 North "all downtown exits", take the fourth street exit and then keep left for the turning lane onto Lower Grand. The parking garage can be found on the left at the end.

Awesome building inside and out. The signage inside could be a little better, but there were courteous ushers at every door, so finding your way around won't be very difficult. The seating is just roomy enough to be comfortable. It was a bit creaky though, and if people in the row above move, you will feel their movement. Sound was great, and views in the orchestra section were amazing. The gardens outside are a nice touch. I would love to come back soon to see another concert. Also, the store had wonderful novelties and gifts!

It wasn’t clear whether the general public can enter the concert hall and there was a group of teens with signage on the steps out front when we went, so we avoided the inside entirely and checked out the garden at the back instead. The garden is up a flight of stairs / or on to an accessible ramp for those who have troubles with mobility. It was very peaceful up there was a variety of plants and trees. It offers a good view of the city and the hills. There are also a few tables with chairs that you can use for dining or conversations. A built-in amphitheater is also available to check out. Overall, it is really serene up in the gardens and is a good place to walk around for 15-30 minutes looking at the plants and the city landscape.

Excellent venue for this New Year’s Solute to Vienna concert. The performance was excellent with orchestra, professional soprano and tenor, and dancers from San Diego Ballet. The entire venue was decorated with New Year’s joyful spirit. We got a taste of different musical genres from Vienna at its musical dominance. Every seat gets an excellent view and sound. We really enjoyed it. Tip: there are plenty of parking but remember the exact level and section.
