Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts Concerts

The Nutcracker at Ramsdell Theatre was a blast for our family! Dancers crushed it, and the holiday vibes were on point. Such a great night out!

Went to the Ramsdell for the first time during Manistee's Victorian Sleighbell Parade & Old Christmas Weekend. I have been wanting to check this place out for forever and finally found the opportunity to tour this gorgeous facility! The volunteers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour guide (sorry that I didn't get her name!), allowed my son to help lower the magnificently decorated stage curtain. He was so excited to be invited to do this special task! The theater is a historical time capsule that manages to be modern at the very same time! This ability is difficult to accomplish without sacrificing something, but the Ramsdell does it. So thankful for this treasure and its caretakers!

Quaint theater, sound and view good. Leg room greatly limited in some areas. Note that some areas difficult to access using an assistive device, so ask before choosing a seat.

Loved what we went there for, but they need to do something for the winter months!!! Not much going on in Manistee in winter would be a draw for getting people to Manistee. Maybe do a package deal with hotels in area!!
