This is a classic, historic theater. Which is great! But it also means it's a less pleasant experience than a more recent theater: acoustics were less good. Smaller seats and no stadium seating meant it was crowded with poor views. Ventilation only felt OK. It was a long line to get us in and there weren't enough restrooms. No dedicated parking so we used the municipal lot about 10 minutes walk away.

Good bars, recommend leaving a few minutes before everyone else at the end of the show to reach the bathroom. Great seats, staff were extremely helpful and courteous. If someone is being rude or loud around you they WILL remove them. The seats are wood, for 2+ hours they have seat cushions but bring your own because you will need it. Park down the street in the public lot for free, they won't remove you until the next day.

We sat in the balcony for a concert. The physical, wooden seats weren't great, but weren't as bad as I thought they might be. A limited number of cushions were available to use - they had them in bins at the top of the stairs (see photo). One of our seats in particular (48A) did not actually exist - they gave us a folding chair, which was unexpected. The view from the A row in the balcony was obscured - the railing blocked part of the view of the stage when we were seated. Temperature was fine, even though the hall was full and it was into the 80s that day. Sound was also fine. Overall, we had a decent experience.

An excellent venue for all kinds of music! The seating is set up so there are really no bad seats. The acoustics are very good and the volume is always just right, never overblown like some venues can be.

Went to an Englebert Humperdinck concert here. The acoustics were great, but seats were small. Enjoyed the show with a great view from the orchestra seats. There is $30 uncovered parking on site, but the lines to get in and out are very long. We parked for free at the city hall, which is a 10 minute walk from the theater. There are some nice restaurants nearby and our favorite is a cute family owned Thai restaurant across the street.
