Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage Concerts 2024-2025

We saw 1964 The Tribute at Carnegie Hall on 2/24/24, produced by Mark Johnson of Strut Productions. Show was in celebration of the Beatles performance in 1o64, but was The Tribute's 16th performance. Our seats on the 1st level tier were amazing. The staff was very helpful. A visit to the museum was very nice, as well. 1964's performance was outstanding alone, and with special guests also.

This is THE classic recital and philharmonic hall in New York City. The New York Phil renovated the old Avery Fisher Hall, improving its acoustics, but it seems to be impersonal. As large as Stern is, it feels magical. I remember John Tishman telling me how they made a mistake renovating the hall and how horrified he was. They worked until they fixed it, as it was a sense of pride for them. That is what this is. Carnegie Hall, Radio City, City Center, the Beacon, NYS (Koch) Theater, the Broadway theaters, the Loews' Wonder theaters and the Metropolitan Opera House make New York the premiere performing art city on Earth. You are not a New Yorker until you go to Carnegie Hall. God bless John Tishman. I miss him.

The acoustics was amazing. Hearing the chorus blend on stage was a great benefit for the performance due to the stage acoustics and listening in the audience to others perform was inspiring to even do greater choral works. Kudos to the performers, stage hands and organizers. More important many thanks to a great audience!

This place is a fantastic theater! 🎭 The Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall 🏛️ is a grand historic hall with some many seats 🪑 suited for opera 🎼, plays, stand-ups 🎤, concerts 👩‍🎤, lectures 🗣️ and more. Get here early to avoid long entry lines for sold out shows. The interior design is absolutely stunning! 🤩 I wish I came here earlier!

Lovely place excellent for a family trip, we went for Spring orchids Show, of course Gorgeous display of color and this time as a fashion show, a truly work of art.
