Academy of Music Concerts 2024-2025

Academy of Music was a quaint beautiful historical theatre nestled in Northampton, MA. Which looked like a very nice town. The theatre was beautiful, and unique. Downstairs there was a beautiful bathroom (I know what bathrooms beautiful) look up the masonry the curve of the bricks. The whole theatre was like this. From the framed old tickets and letters. We saw Clannad the acoustics and sound were amazing. Seats were comfortable and seems to have a great view anywhere you sit. This is what I believe a theatre should look like, historical, the carved details around the stage. It’s beautiful I highly recommend finding an event here and exploring the historical beautiful theatre. And I suggest parking in the garage around the corner an easy walk (up a hill) but we were out of the garage and back on the road in a matter of a few minutes. Highly recommended

I've always loved The Academy of Music. The interior design of the auditorium and the stage is so amazing. The theater itself is an old opera house and the architecture greatly reflects this. The shows are always fun and the seating, while tight and cramped, is quite comfortable.

Not a bad seat in the house! We had front row tickets to see DakhaBrakha and the show was amazing and tickets were reasonably priced. We parked in the parking garage and walked over. Only complaint is no alcohol.

We were lucky enough to attend a performance of the Kingston Trio, and they didn't disappoint. The venue is an excellent place for a fairly up close live performance of any band or act. It has a great atmosphere and is a gem of days gone by. It was a very nice experience with comfortable seats and good views from just about anywhere. Handicapped accessible. Decent amount of leg room for the chairs, somewhat snug side by side. Theater is classic and appears to be kept in real good condition and is a worthy venue for a performer. Price for the show was reasonable for 12/2023. I do recommend seeing a performance here at least once.
