San Diego Civic Theatre Concerts 2024-2025

First time for us at the Civic theater. Saw MJ. The story of Michael Jackson. And even though we were in the nosebleed seats, the experience was wonderful. I was happy that we were able to get tickets just one week out.

We saw MJ and he sounded and looked like Michael. I felt like I was at his concert.We sat in Mezzanine perfect seats.If you go early parking is better.Enjoy!@!!

CLASSY and ELEGANT! I was quite impressed with the San Diego Civic Theatre, it has a beautiful auditorium and very comfortable seats! I went to watch Les Miserables at this theater and I was nervous as to if this theatre could handle a massive production of that caliber and it was! The acoustics, stage size and lighting were all exceptional! My only gripe would be the location of the merch booths, it’s a very tight space and not easily accessible for many guests. Overall, I love the location of this theatre and the experience. The parking is also nearby and easy to navigate. I highly recommend you visit! I know I’ll be coming back!

Fun venue for sure, but super tired. I don't think it's been updated since it was built. Unfortunately, it's right in the middle of a rough homeless area, so that's dicey, coming out of the parking garage. If you take the stairs down from the garage, please beware of urine pools, a stench that takes hours to leave your membranes and homeless laying and sleeping in there. It's very dicey, but it is the closest place to park. Just take precaution. The whole area there has not been maintained very well by the city which is a shame since the Civic theater could be a gem. Very tight seats inside, even down 11 rows from the stage. Fighting for armrests should be for baseball parks and airplanes, not theater. Excellent sound system inside and adequate restrooms. Someone needs to dump some cash into the theater and surrounding area and make it something that San Diego can be proud of.

I went with friends a couple weeks ago to the Brit Floyd concert at the San Diego Civic Theatre and it was a fantastic show. The seats are comfortable and was a good view from the mezzanine, center seating. The staff was friendly and helpful in directing you where to go. There’s also plenty of security to make you feel safe. I look forward to the next concert or musical here.
