Yefim Bronfman, born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is renowned for his dynamic performances of Russian composers like Prokofiev and Shostakovich. An American citizen since 1989, he has performed globally and won a Grammy for Bartók's concertos. Notable collaborations include Emanuel Ax and Shlomo Mintz. He was featured in Fantasia 2000 and described in Philip Roth's novel "The Human Stain." His extensive discography spans over 90 recordings.
