Evicshen, also known as Victoria Shen, is a San Francisco-based experimental sound artist and instrument-maker. She is celebrated for her innovative use of analog modular synthesizers, self-built electronics, and "chaotic sound" that favors extreme textures and gestural tones. Shen invented "Needle Nails" and released the LP "Hair Birth," known for its playable copper album art.
