Rhett Miller and Josh Rouse

Texas native Rhett Miller is best known as the frontman of the Old 97's and for his solo career blending alt-country and melodic pop. Debuting with 2002's *The Instigator*, he achieved acclaim with albums like *The Messenger* and *The Misfit*, collaborating with producer Sam Cohen. He's also released works like *The Dreamer* and worked with artists such as Jon Brion, Neil Finn, and members of Black Prairie and R.E.M. Miller also co-hosts the "Wheels Off" podcast, exploring the creative process with various artists.

Born in Nebraska, Josh Rouse is a folk-pop singer/songwriter known for his introspective lyrics and diverse influences. Moving frequently in his youth, music was his constant companion. Rouse's acclaimed debut, *Dressed Up Like Nebraska* (1998), was followed by collaborations with Kurt Wagner of Lambchop and a series of albums reflecting his worldly experiences. After a pivotal move to Spain, his sound evolved from Spanish influences in *El Turista* (2010) to '80s synth-pop in *Love in the Modern Age* (2018). Notable for blending genres, he produces a rootsy indie rock vibe by 2022’s *Going Places*.
