Boston native drummer Stacy Jones co-founded rock band American Hi-Fi, signed to Island and released American Hi-Fi (2001) featuring “Flavor of the Weak.” Albums include Live from Tokyo (2002), Art of Losing (2003), Fight the Frequency (2010) and American Hi-Fi Acoustic (2016).

The Marvelous 3, from Atlanta, GA, are known for their 1998 alt-rock hit "Freak of the Week." Fronted by Butch Walker, they mixed edgy style with catchy tunes.
