Japanese avant-garde black metal band Sigh formed in 1989/90, led by Mirai Kawashima with Satoshi Fujinami and Kazuki Ozeki. Their debut Scorn Defeat for Euronymous’ Deathlike Silence Productions helped make them a revered metal export.
Arthur Brown is an English rock singer-songwriter, pioneer of shock and progressive rock, known for flamboyant theatrics and an operatic voice. His 1968 single Fire hit No. 1 in the UK and Canada; he led Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Kingdom Come.
Hällas are a Swedish quintet formed in 2011, known for epic fantasy-themed Adventure Rock with twin guitars and vintage synths. Broke through with Excerpts From A Future Past (2017) and hit single Star Rider; Conundrum (2020) earned a Swedish Grammy nod.
Pain Killer is a New York City avant-garde trio formed in 1991 featuring alto saxist John Zorn, bassist Bill Laswell, and drummer Mick Harris (ex-Napalm Death). Inspired by grindcore, they fuse death metal intensity with free jazz.
