Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1912, performs 120+ concerts annually for 150,000+ people. Led by Music Director Robert Spano, it has played Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, released 13 recordings, and is resident at Bass Performance Hall.

Peter Oundjian is a Canadian violinist and conductor born in Toronto. He began his career as the first violinist of the renowned Tokyo String Quartet, performing with them for 14 years until a hand injury forced him to transition to conducting in 1995. He has since enjoyed a distinguished conducting career, notably serving as the music director of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Colorado Symphony, and has taught at the Yale School of Music since 1981.
