Now with drummer Laust Sonne, they continue to rock, celebrating 40 years with new music. Their 2019 album "A Prayer for the Loud" was followed by their latest, "Speed of Darkness."

He studied at Trondheim Musikkonservatorium, collaborated with Hot Club de Norvège, and received acclaim for his work "Liarbird," winning the 2011 Spellemannprisen for Jazz Album of the Year. Kvernberg joined Motorpsycho for "The Death Defying Unicorn" and co-founded Grand General, likened to Mahavishnu Orchestra for its jazz-metal fusion.
