Formed in Wiltshire, U.K. in 1980, anarchist punk collective Subhumans released five albums on their Bluurg label, including The Day the Country Died. Blending political songcraft with experimental style, the band later reunited in 1998, releasing albums like Crisis Point.

Upchuck

Upchuck is a band formed by lead guitarist Michael Durham with rhythm guitarist Alex “Hoff” Hoffman, bassist Armando Arrietta, drummer Chris Salado, and vocalist Kaila “KT” Thompson, whose songs address discrimination and trauma as a Black woman.
