U.K. anarchist punk collective Subhumans formed near Trowbridge, Wiltshire in 1980. Known for literate, musically athletic punk, they released five albums on their Bluurg label including The Day the Country Died, later reuniting in 1998.

Upchuck is a band formed by lead guitarist Michael Durham with rhythm guitarist Alex “Hoff” Hoffman, bassist Armando Arrietta, drummer Chris Salado, and vocalist Kaila “KT” Thompson, whose songs address discrimination and trauma as a Black woman.
