Emerging from post-punk roots in 1984, The Cult, led by Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy, became a major UK hard rock force. Famed for hits "She Sells Sanctuary" and "Fire Woman," they combined gothic style with mystic themes, collaborating with Rick Rubin and sharing stages with Metallica. Despite challenges, they released albums like Sonic Temple, with notable tours and a revival on tracks like "Give Me Mercy." Known for their hard rock evolution, they remain influential.

Patriarchy

PATRIARCHY, led by LA's Actually Huizenga, mixes themes of sex, power, and mythology with ABBA and NIN sounds. Known for dangerous fantasies; produced by Matia Simovich.
