The Twilight Sad, formed in 2003 in Kilsyth, Scotland, crafts intense post-punk and indie rock with shoegaze elements. Known for James Graham's emotive Scottish vocals and Andy MacFarlane's layered guitars, their debut "Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters" earned widespread acclaim. Their album "It's the Long Goodbye" includes contributions from Robert Smith of The Cure. They are celebrated for their melancholic, expansive sound.
