The Queers, punk rockers from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, have delivered snotty, fast-paced music since 1982. Known for their no-frills punk anthems and puerile lyrics, they've put out notable albums like "Love Songs for the Retarded" (1993) and "Don't Back Down" (1996), influenced by the Ramones. Their key lineup was Joe King/Queer, Hugh O'Neill, and B-Face. They've collaborated with Screeching Weasel's Ben Weasel and released on labels like Lookout and Hopeless Records.
