Bleeding Through, from Orange County, is known for fierce metalcore blending death and black metal. Formed in 1999, they gained fame with albums like "This Is Love, This Is Murderous". Collaborated with Doc Coyle and Brian Fair. The band has ties to Eighteen Visions and Throwdown and released the 2018 comeback album "Love Will Kill All", hitting the Billboard charts. Their music often explores dark themes, and they are well-regarded in the metal scene for their intense sound and powerful live shows.

Boston's metalcore band Overcast, formed in 1991, included Mike D'Antonio and Brian Fair (later in Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall). Known for "Bleed into One," they disbanded in 1998, reunited in 2008 for "Reborn to Kill Again."
