W.A.S.P. and Armored Saint

W.A.S.P., formed in 1982, is famed for their influential debut metal album. Led by Blackie Lawless, the band, with members Mike Duda, Doug Blair, and Aquiles Priester, celebrates its 40th anniversary with a 39-city tour, reviving their classic 80s metal sound in North America.

Armored Saint, born from the Sunset Strip scene, channels the spirit of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. Known for influential '80s albums like "March of the Saint," the band faced tragedy with guitarist David Prichard's passing in 1990. Re-forming in 1999, they continued to bridge thrash and hard rock, with notable works like "Punching the Sky." Key members include John Bush and Joey Vera, the latter also known for his work with Fates Warning. Their legacy includes collaborations with Anthrax and electrifying live performances.
