Woods formed in Brooklyn in 2004. Led by Jeremy Earl with bandmates Jarvis Taveniere and John Andrews, they run the Woodsist label (since 2006) and curate Woodsist Festival. Their 2024 album Perennial features 11 songs, 4 instrumental.

Edsel Axle

Edsel Axle is the instrumental electric guitar project of North Carolina's Rosali Middleman. Known for cosmic-minded compositions, her solo work features meditative Americana and psychedelic energy. The project's album, "Variable Happiness," showcases her unique guitar style, recorded to a four-track cassette rig. Popular tracks include "Her Wind Horse" and "Some Answer."
