Željko Samardžić is a Bosnian and Serbian pop-folk singer who achieved widespread popularity throughout the former Yugoslav republics. Born on October 3, 1955, in Mostar, he began singing during high school but pursued music primarily as a hobby until relocating to Belgrade in 1992 due to the Bosnian War. His mainstream breakthrough came in 1995 with the hit song "Sipajte mi još jedan viski" at the Pjesma Mediterana festival, which launched a successful recording career featuring popular albums like Sudbina, Sentimentalan čovek, and Lice ljubavi.
