Had a great stay here, the room was lovely and clean with a great view. The buffet was good with a broad range of choices, although it was very busy when we dined. Parking was free but they simply directed us to park in the public casino car park.

The casino itself is fine, and some lovely restaurants, but now that it’s paid parking it’s an absolute nightmare. First you have a booth that says Car Parking with a queue a mile long. You get to the front and they tell you can pay at the gate. One half of our party paid at the booth for $10, we opted to pay at the gate. It was a nightmare, it took 20min to get out due to traffic, and then got billed $20. And we were there the same time as our friends. The least The Star could do if charging for parking is make it easy for patrons to get in and out. You’re better of parking at The Oasis, at least it’s decent car park.

Really nice spot. In a good central part of town. Good view, even from half way up the building. The on-site facilities were sufficient. The rooms were well stocked. The kitchen didn't have an ice tray 👎. Room service was $70 onto of the $730 cost per night. What is the $730 for if it doesn't even cover room service? Otherwise, it was pretty good 👍

The room was beautiful with a great view. The bathroom wasn't so good, sink kept blocking. The room service was OK. I really liked the location. To be honest, it was so convenient. The room service was super fast, and the food was nice. There were also restaurants and bars downstairs, of course gaming area was absolutely fun The pool and spa was very relaxing nice sitting area with kids to play around as well. We enjoy it and recommend it

The king room was very comfortable and clean. The room service staff was polite. However, the check-in process was quite slow and frustrating. I waited nearly an hour to check in. One of my colleagues had a negative experience with a staff member named Margaret. She was a bit rude when my colleague couldn't provide an ID for check-in. I had already verified the credit card details for the other rooms I booked for my colleages, but it seems this information was not noted down. As a result, when my staff checked in, they had to pay for their booking. I have contacted the reception to email me the copy of the receipt and no one got back to me yet. Overall, the venue is great, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of the staff and the check-in process. Clearer communication and better organisation would greatly enhance the guest experience.
