Stylus Concerts 2025

This was our first visit to the Stylus. We did an afternoon recce on the location. Helpful students soon set us right. It is inside the student union building but a few flights of stairs down. There were no posters or directions to the venue. Which is in the heart of Leeds University. It is not a large venue compared to many, but what it does have is a very special atmosphere. This could of course be down to the performing band. Tonight we saw Dirty Honey. They were excellent and just seem to improve every time we see them. On the back of a stunning new album, they're touring quite extensively. It was a good blend of their music. It got quite hot during the performance. It was good to see security at the front of the stage offering cups of water. We will certainly be visiting again.

Saw Obituary perform here and it was a very loud and very fun gig. The staff were all friendly and security was efficient. I really liked the raised section that allows you to look down onto the mosh pit while also getting a good view of the stage. There are no bad spots in this venue and you can enjoy the gif from everywhere.

Lovely venue, good atmosphere, nice and friendly staff at the bar. Big pillars make seeing the stage a little difficult from some spots, and be warned depending on your provider there is likely going to be NO phone signal and there's no free WiFi that i could find. All round though, a good venue for live music!

Nice venue, when we went the concert was very delayed but once it started it was so good However not so good for some disabilities? Me and my bf originally stood close to stage but he needed to sit down from leg problems and obviously once we left our spot we couldn't go back but that was a bit dissapointing as I couldn't see the performance (I'm so short 😭)

Good live music venue. Photography sometimes allowed but photographers be aware that anything regarded as professional gear may not be allowed.
