The Salt Shed Concerts 2025

All three times I have been to this venue are all great!!! Never had to wait in line more than 3 minutes to get into the venue. Great security. I can leave to smoke or get food from the food trucks and come back in!! The sound is the best of any venue this size. Even in the seats you still feel the base. The outdoor concerts are really good too. Definitely gets more cramped at outdoor sold out shows. But the view is beautiful. Sound is a little worse but that's how outdoor concerts work. Still amazing from most spots. The only downside like most concerts and venues is the price of food and drinks.... Be prepared lol. Also no cash taken at the venue so load your card before hand.

Patiently waiting to get my Salty Season Pass (that isn't real but should be!) because I'm here so often. The programming keeps me coming back show after show - kudos to the booking staff! Inside is GORGEOUS, so clean and thoughtfully planned out. The staff is friendly, helpful & fun. Went to a few shows when I was pregnant and the staff was so accommodating and sweet. Perpetually looking forward to my next show at the Shed!

The Salt Shed has to be my favorite concert venue in the city! Free street parking within a few blocks (Even closer if you get there when doors open). Line to get in a single entry moves quickly. $5 coat check, 3 bars (go in the main room for almost no lines), super clean and large bathrooms. Even a sold out show, the floor never felt crowded. Great acoustics. Super easy to get out. I hope some bigger names will play here in the future, can’t wait to come back!

Premium seating is worth it. There are rows of seating for each section with high tops and barstools towards the back of the venue. Some seats might be obscured by a railing, but it's not that bad. If you arrive right when doors open you can find a good seat.

Best venue. Premium seating is really nice if you just want to chill at a table and sit down, general admission is perfect if you want to be in the crowd. Drinks are expensive but thats Chicago.
