Robert Spano, born in Conneaut, Ohio, is a renowned conductor known for leading major American orchestras, winning multiple Grammys with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Spano served as music director of the Atlanta Symphony (2001–2021) and was named music director of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in 2022.
