Men At Work with Toad The Wet Sprocket and Shonen Knife

Formed in Goleta, CA (1986), alt-rock band Toad the Wet Sprocket—Glen Phillips, Todd Nichols & Dean Dinning—known for introspective lyrics, melodic guitars & vocal harmonies.

Men at Work, formed in Melbourne by Colin Hay and Ron Strykert, soared in the new wave era with hit singles "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Down Under," both chart-toppers. Their debut album, *Business as Usual*, broke records, staying 15 weeks atop U.S. charts. Known for their catchy guitar hooks and saxophones, the band won a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1982. Their second album, *Cargo*, featured hits like "Overkill." Despite a decline post their third album *Two Hearts*, Hay pursued a solo career. Men at Work occasionally reunited for live shows until Greg Ham's passing in 2012.

Osaka-born Shonen Knife blends Ramones and Beatles influences into fun punk-pop. Collaborated with Nirvana, their 1992 album Let's Knife gained wide acclaim. Despite lineup changes, founder Naoko Yamano remains. Known for hits like "Tomato Head" and lively, playful style, they keep charming audiences worldwide with albums like 2023’s Our Best Place.
