LineUp

Founded in 1881, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, supported by banker Henry Lee Higginson, is a pillar of U.S. orchestral culture. Its legendary recordings, especially on RCA Victor, benefit from Boston's Symphony Hall acoustics. Known for premieres of works by Stravinsky and Bartók, it has been led by conductors Monteux, Koussevitsky, and Ozawa. It also has ties with Tanglewood Music Festival and contributed to film scores like Spielberg's "Schindler's List" and "Saving Private Ryan" with John Williams.
Andris Nelsons, Music Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, is renowned for his innovative leadership. As Gewandhauskapellmeister, he pioneers unique collaborations and has won two Grammy Awards. Nelsons, a Deutsche Grammophon exclusive artist since 2016, is known for exploring Anton Bruckner's symphonies.
Aaron Diehl, born in Columbus, Ohio, is a renowned jazz pianist known for his swinging acoustic and classical style. He toured with Wynton Marsalis and contributed to three Grammy-winning Cécile McLorin Salvant albums. Diehl's notable works include "The Bespoke Man's Narrative" and "The Vagabond." He has collaborated with saxophonist Benny Golson and released an orchestral rendition of Mary Lou Williams' "Zodiac Suite" in 2023.
