LineUp

Founded in 1881, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, supported by banker Henry Lee Higginson, is a pillar of U.S. orchestral culture. Its legendary recordings, especially on RCA Victor, benefit from Boston's Symphony Hall acoustics. Known for premieres of works by Stravinsky and Bartók, it has been led by conductors Monteux, Koussevitsky, and Ozawa. It also has ties with Tanglewood Music Festival and contributed to film scores like Spielberg's "Schindler's List" and "Saving Private Ryan" with John Williams.
Aaron Diehl, born in Columbus, Ohio, is a renowned jazz pianist and composer celebrated for his swinging acoustic jazz style. Raised in a musical family, Diehl began piano at seven and gained early acclaim touring with Wynton Marsalis. He's collaborated on award-winning projects, including three Grammy-winning albums with vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant. Diehl's notable albums include "The Bespoke Man's Narrative" and "The Vagabond." In 2023, he honored jazz pianist Mary Lou Williams with an orchestral rendition of her "Zodiac Suite," collaborating with The Knights.
